When Heath Shuler announced he was not running for Congress my strategic flag went up.  I wondered, “What’s this liberal con artist up to?”

As most of you know, I grew up in a very “Democrat” political family. My step father is NC Democrat Senator Martin Nesbitt. My grandfather was the President of the Buncombe County Democrat Men’s Club and Weldon Weir‘s most trusted friend. I my self was an officer with the NC Young Democrats and a Democrat strategist. It was only until my daughter was born did I realized how stupid I was for being a Democrat. Faith, a free market, morals, and my daughters future became everything to me. But hey, I’m not in bad company. Even Reagan was once a Democrat.

Now a strong conservative, a Republican since 1994, and someone that has strategized for the Democrats and Republicans, (with a winning record I might add), hear me out on this…..because I know how these two parties leadership think.

Around the year 1999 the Democrat Party began to split. It became liberal progressives or (Zombies) and conservative Democrats, (the ones who made the zombies). Conservative Democrats, (CD’s), controlled the party because they were the ones with the money. Thinking they could keep them under control, the CD’s fed the progressives money because they were young and could draw media attention. No matter if they were for gay’s, sex offenders rights, socialism, or the Devil himself, CD’s just wanted votes to keep their power.

When things started to get out of control the CD’s realized that if they started loosing to Republicans then they better start finding people they could control and had an all American, apple pie appeal. One of these people was Heath Shuler.

Heath, (and others), were hand picked by Bill Clinton and John Edwards. Their charm and persuasive abilities had Shulers ear. Shuler put sentences together like he played football, terrible! So the CD’s got him a speaking coach and polished him up a bit. The CD’s invested in Heath.  Here are a couple of links of Clinton and Edwards campaigning for Shuler.  Edwards.  Clinton.

Heath Shuler came on the scene as a good looking all American NFL football player who claimed to have mountain values. He had a Christian background and a good looking family. Shuler had what you need to get elected. He came across as nice. Once elected to Congress, he became the chairman of the CD’s conservative group called the Blue Dog Democrat Coalition.

The Democrat Party as a whole, keep these Blue Dogs quite and on a leash until needed. For example – Shulers first “mountain values” vote as a United States Congressman was for the most liberal progressive on the planet, Nancy Pelosi, to be Speaker Of The House. The second time Pelosi came up to be elected as Speaker, we in the local Republican party raised cain in the media about Shuler not being a true conservative and constantly pointed out his vote for Pelosi. The CD’s saw this as a threat as we called their bluff in the public. The CD’s ran Shuler against Pelosi for the Speaker position. They new he wouldn’t win but they wanted to deceive the public into thinking Shuler wasn’t a liberal.

Another example is in the 2010 election. The Progressive Zombies of the Democrat Party got to loud and un-American. The Republicans were about to take over the House so the Democrats ran a media blitz ad on Democrat websites “only“. This blitz was called “Keep Our Majority”. The Democrats un-leashed the Blue Dogs in this blitz to try and keep conservative faith believing Democrats from voting Republican. They plastered Shuler’s picture and, “so called”, conservative persona all over the ad.  You can see a video I did on it by clicking here.

I can go on with other examples of Heath Shuler supporting his liberal party and political power structure over the American people and the Constitution but I want to get to the point.

The Progressive Zombie side of the Democrat Party and foriegn money got Barrack Husain Obama elected as President of the United States. In the past 3 years Obama’s record has consisted of 17 vacations, 132 lavish White House parties, highest gas prices on record, highest jobless rate in history, and the worst economic blunder since the great depression. This socialist is going to run again and the leadership of the Democrat Party knows he can’t make it unless he can gain the trust of the American people. Obama needs a young, “American example”, running mate.

I believe the money base of the Democrat Party is lining up to make Heath Shuler the Vice Presidential nomine. Why?

• Heath Shuler does as he is told.
• Heath Shuler comes across as a conservative.
• Heath Shuler is young and looks all American.
• Heath Shuler is from North Carolina and the Democrats need the Southern votes to win.
• North Carolina is a battleground state.
• The National Democrat Convention is in Charlotte NC.
• Heath Shuler and the Blue Dogs made a push to bring both parties together recently to lower the debt.
• Heath Shuler appeals to most independents.

Only time will tell if I am right but watch the rest of his Congressional term closely. Look for the signs and know that in politics, 75% of what polititians do in the media is a theatrical show.  It’s mostly about the “win” and unfortunately not about the American people.
